In person and online workshops to support drivers licensing in your community ....
After years of travelling across British Columbia to deliver driver training in person, All Nations Driving Academy is working to develop new models of classroom training to increase accessibility.
Workshops for both class 7L and class 4L will be delivered online with additional in-person opportunities as requested.
We are additionally looking forward to offering class 7L instructor training and co-pilot training to enhance employment opportunities for Indigenous community members who are looking to serve their Nations.
The goal of our programming is to support communities to have the knowledge and expertise to host workshops internally wherever possible.

Upcoming Workshops
All Nations Driving Academy is pleased to be offering our Next series of online workshops in Spring 2026.
These workshops include the class 7L course for those who are new to earning a drivers license as well as the class 4 learners course to support the safe operation of community vans and ambulances.
Class 4 Online Learners Prep
When All Nations Driving Academy was first created in 2018, our initial focus was to create programming that would support community members to go to work or level up their current employment opportunities. We learned quickly that a drivers license was linked not only to employment, but also health and safety.
As we crossed the province of British Columbia, the reality that many remote Indigenous communities would need to wait more than 8 hours for ambulance service was shocking. Quickly, we made the leap to offering class 4 services to train health departments to increase capacity around patient transfer and ambulance services.
Today our class 4 online workshop is designed to be taught in 2 hour increments over 4 days and can be hosted in the evening or during work hours to accommodate your community schedule.
The online course includes highlighted study guides and practice tests. Our team is happy to support your organization through the testing process as a liaison to Service BC or ICBC for scheduling.
Participants must hold a valid class 5 drivers license to participate.

Class 7L Online Learners Prep
In the early days of supporting drivers licensing in remote communities, we were amazed to understand that learning to drive was not something just for those turning 16 years old. From the onset, many elders joined our classes and it was an incredible honour to support their pursuit of independence, freedom and safety.
Our online workshops are designed for all ages and can be accessed from a central gathering place like a Friendship Centre, a community hall or participants can join from the comfort of their own home.
Today our online workshop is designed to be taught in 2 hour increments over 4 days and can be hosted in the evening or during work hours to accommodate your community schedule.

Elders Education Workshops
Elders Education Workshops support Elders, families, and communities in understanding and preparing for driving assessments in British Columbia. These workshops are designed to reduce stress, clarify what to expect, and create space for questions, conversation, and reassurance. Driving is often deeply connected to independence, responsibility, and care for others, and this work approaches the assessment process with dignity, respect, and practical support.
Workshops are offered in two formats: a 2-hour online information session that provides a clear, plain-language overview of the Enhanced Road Assessment process, and a 2-day in-person community workshop that combines learning, preparation, and shared time together. Both formats are educational and supportive, with no testing or evaluation involved, and are well suited for community-hosted programming focused on Elder wellbeing and safety.

In Community Workshops
All Nations Driving Academy is happy to support community workshops in person as requested.
These workshops can cover topics such as class 7L for new drivers, class 4L for those wanting to study to drive the community shuttle and elders courses to understand the enhanced road assessment requirements.
Other topics of interest may include, overcoming points and fines, drivers license reinstatement, finding legal support and understanding the Off Road Vehicle Act for those who are using ATV's or other Off Road Vehicles.
